Formerly known as the Victorian Schools' Music Association (VSMA), this organization is open to all music educators and
those interested in music education. aMuse organizes professional development programs for primary, secondary and instrumental music teachers, produces student performance activities
including master classes and festivals, and can provide independent advice on curriculum matters.

The mission of the Association for Popular Music Education (APME) is to promote and advance popular music at all levels of education both in the classroom and beyond.
APME was created to advocate for popular music education and its advancement as a discipline. It provides educational opportunities for teachers and students, honors the rich history of popular music, and develops innovative ways to create, perform, and teach it.

Education Through Music was founded to promote the integration of music into the curricula of disadvantaged schools in order to enhance students' academic performance and general development.
At ETM, we believe that every child deserves a well-rounded education: one that includes music. Unfortunately, many schools, especially those serving children in low-income communities, provide no music instruction or rely solely on short-term programs that do not serve every student. ETM created a comprehensive program that incorporates music into the education of every child, including those with special needs.

The National Band Association (NBA) is the largest professional organization for bands in the world.
It was organized for the purpose of promoting the musical and educational significance of bands and is dedicated to
the attainment of a high level of excellence for bands and band music.
We are open to anyone and everyone interested in bands, regardless of the length of
experience, type of position held, or the specific level at which one works.

 VH-1 Save the Music:
Founded in 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating systemic change in the American public school system by restoring instrumental music programs and by raising public awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education.
Since it's beginnings, the organization has provided $48 million in new musical instruments to 1,800 public schools in more than 100 cities around the United States.

The purpose of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) is the progressive development of the therapeutic
use of music in rehabilitation, special education, and community settings. Predecessors of AMTA, unified in 1998,
include the National Association for Music Therapy founded in 1950 and the American Association for Music Therapy founded in 1971.
AMTA is committed to the advancement of education, training, professional standards, credentials, and research in support of the music therapy profession.

Nordoff Robbins is the UK's leading private provider of music therapy services. Our trained network of music therapists work with people of all ages and with a range of conditions. The Certification Board for Music Therapists
Music therapy is the specialized use of music by a credentialed professional who develops individualized treatment and supportive interventions for people of all ages and ability levels to address their social, communication, emotional, physical, cognitive, sensory and spiritual needs.
CBMT is the only organization to certify music therapists to practice music therapy nationally. Its MT-BC program has been fully accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) since 1986. Over 6,400 music therapists currently maintain the MT-BC credential and participate in a program of recertification designed to measure or enhance competence in the profession of music therapy
British Association for Music Therapy
The British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT), replaced the Association of Professional Music Therapists and British Society for Music Therapy in April 2011. Our organization provides both
practitioners and non-practitioners with information, professional support, and training opportunities that advance the
usage and effectiveness of music therapy.
